The first thing is to analyze the clutter that has accumulated over the months and maybe years. What can we toss away or just clean up? By decluttering your home, your office and your personal life, you will be amazed how it will improve your stress level.

As winter finally winds down and we are about to welcome spring, let us take out our tools for a deep cleaning. Whether it’s the windows, the gutters or scrubbing the floors why not clean our inside too.

The spring often calls us to trim, down size, declutter just so that we can enjoy its freshness. During the months of winter we easily accumulate clutter, not only in different spaces of our homes, cars offices, but also in our personal lives and souls. Sometimes we tend to think more is better, but it’s not, as we see in the Bible in Ecclesiastes 4:6 “Better one handful with tranquility than two handfuls with toil and chasing after the wind.”

We have been raised to always think more is better; but is it always really? As you are looking at two handfuls; ask yourself, do you need both? What has accumulated, not only in your garage or basement but also inside of you?

Maybe we need to let go of one handful so that we can have one free hand to get to work with. Pastor Craig Groeschel well explains this, in that you can’t do much if both your hands are tied down; not even scratch yourself.
